A message from the President & CEO...
Welcome to the Hispanic Women’s Corporation (HWC)! We are 25 years strong in celebrating the professional and leadership enhancement of Latina women throughout the United States.
What’s new? With suggestions from past conferences, the HWC Board of Directors two years ago announced plans to transition from the traditional “conference” concept to tiered programmatic Institutes at the Executive, Professional, Youth and Mis Negocios en Español components. The HWC Institutes will effectively better serve the multitude of Latinas in different phases of their career endeavors. In addition, it is also the mission of the organization to provide programming for the primarily Spanish speaking entrepreneurs and to integrate Mis Negocios en Español within the total HWC Institutes framework. We are expanding our exhibit area to incorporate additional exhibitors based on previous year’s high demand.
The HWC Youth Leadership Institutes will focus on 500 junior high Latina students at the seventh and eighth grade levels to focus on academic and career goal setting with a particular emphasis on financial literacy introduced at a younger age.
It is imperative that we jointly continue to financially support the undergraduate and graduate education of our 50 deserving scholars. HWC counts on your continued support to make these academic dreams come true.
HWC looks forward to your continued attendance and support of all Latina women, youth, scholars and sponsors. Linda Mazon Gutierrez President & CEO Hispanic Women's Corporation Would you like to volunteer and help with the conference? Click Here and fax your completed form to 602-954-7563
